Aurora Rising was born from decades of lived experience in global service, sustainability, holistic healing, and grassroots infrastructure development. From clean water projects in Indonesia and the Navajo Nation to solar-powered homes in remote parts of Nicaragua, we’ve seen firsthand how deeply people suffer when survival is commodified — and how powerful it is when communities take back control of their essential needs. At the heart of Aurora Rising is one simple belief: Access to the basics of life — clean water, nourishing food, shelter, energy, education, and healthcare — should never be profit-driven.
