The Australia-Colombia Dialogue

The Australia-Colombia Dialogue is an independent, non-partisan, and non-for-profit public-diplomacy organisation exclusively dedicated to advancIng Australia-Colombia relations. Our mission is to create meeting places where leaders from both countries regularly, meaningfully and fruitfully, exchange ideas and viewpoints about the future of Australia-Colombia relations. Our network of leaders gathers among others, government officials, diplomats, entrepreneurs, academics, journalists, athletes, artists, and industry experts, from Colombia and Australia. Together, we foster practical collaboration between their working sectors, increase the visibility of Australian-Colombia links, and raise awareness about the importance of Australia-Colombia relations for both countries’ prosperity and security interests. Our primary objective is to foster both, government, and non-government high-level engagement, and thereby contribute to the expansion, deepening, and strengthening of Australia-Colombia economic, political, security, academic, cultural, and people-to-people links. Our 1.5 Track Diplomacy Dialogue is at the centre of everything we do. This biannual event gathers government officials, and senior representatives from both countries across a multidisciplinary spectrum to examine some of the main topics on the Australia-Colombia relations agenda from a public and private sector viewpoint. Apart from the 1.5 Track Diplomacy Dialogue, we put our hearts and minds into the creation and implementation of a broad range of networking, cultural, sports, tourism, professional development, and public speaking events.
