Coffee Science Lab is the first independent consultancy in Australia dedicated to helping coffee specialists gain greater, more objective control over their coffee quality programs. Using modern analytical techniques and robust statistics, research chemist and Coffee Science Lab director Dr. Monika Fekete (contact: monika@coffeesciencelab.com.au) helps coffee professionals combine objective measurements with sensory evaluation to accelerate their coffee quality programs. Coffee Science Lab aims to establish that while great coffee is an art, it is also a science. By adding solid numbers to the mix, Monika helps coffee businesses become more objective and consistent about their daily coffee processing, as well as providing experimental data and analysis for new development programs. Monika believes that beautiful coffee supported by scientific expertise will result in not just an amazing beverage, but one that's perfect every day, cup after cup. Coffee Science Lab was launched in 2016, and has already established successful collaboration with 5Senses Coffee Roasters, CoffeeChemistry.com and has started discussing future projects with Lavazza Coffee.
