Navy brat right out of the womb to two great parents, even though our little family split early on, they’re still my parents and friends to this day. Imagination and creativeness were always my two strongest attributes growing-up, and with the guidance of my late step-father, he helped me put all those crazy ideas together to create my own style of writing.
Unfortunately, after his passing, I gave up on my dream of writing with the typical mindset “ It’s just a Dream that won’t lead anywhere”. Everything wasn’t always “rosy” growing-up, hiding from my own demons that no one knew existed because my façade was “rock solid”.
Skip 21 years later, the Pandemic is rearing its nasty little head, and of all the things to happen; I get sick, which led to more stress on-top of my normal stress, and I had a mental collapse. A dream long forgotten, became my saving grace to cope with the jumbled mess that currently resides in my brain, but opened doors that I never saw coming.
My son being the biggest motivator.
Technology is great, and with the World shutting down, I found online reading apps. Reading at first, but then I was like “I can do this” “I can write and vent my frustrations out in words and characters”. So, I did, published my first book, which flopped but I didn’t care. Pandora’s Box was open and the ideas flowing.
Doubted myself a lot, but the push from strangers all over the World to publish my works has lead me to this point in my crazy journey.
