Rene Reid’s life took her from the serenity of life as a Catholic nun to the chaos of life as an elected public official. Rene is passionate about making a positive impact on the world. She has worked as a religious education director in Catholic parishes, expanded her reach to the media via hosting TV shows and talk radio programs, and was among the first female talk radio hosts in the nation. Rene created a successful network marketing organization and wrote a bestselling book about network marketing. She is dedicated to helping people find their own purpose in life, whether through the media, assisting the homeless, or sparking religious renewal via Catholic Church Reform International (www.CatholicChurchReformIntl.org), which she founded and directs. She lives in Reno, Nevada, and continues her work for church reform as she is committed to transforming a monarchal church to one focused on loving one another with the people having a voice in its governance.
