As Crawl Walk Jump Run Therapy Clinic, we launched our ABA Therapy Program in the fall of 2015. Now in January of 2018, we have officially opened an entire clinic dedicated to our ABA Therapy Program. Welcome to Autism University. At Autism University, a Crawl Walk Jump Run Therapy Clinic, we understand the spectrum is not a “one size fits all” diagnosis. Our team can customize a plan of care to meet the individual therapy needs of any age. While early intervention is key, all ages can benefit from treatment. For school-aged children, ABA, or Applied Behavior Analysis, helps with language acquisition, listening skills, and attending skills that foster academic success. ABA is the science of changing behavior. We seek to increase meaningful and helpful skills while reducing unwanted behaviors. ABA utilizes a naturalistic, play-based approach that teaches and encourages functional communication, attention, play skills and self-help skills. At Autism University, our experienced behavior analysts use a blend of the three models of ABA (Lovaas Method, Verbal Behavior, Natural Environment Teaching), which are all tailored to each individual's needs and skill levels.
