AFS is developing FlameSmart, a completely autonomous firefighting system which deals with multiple fires, in priority order, from the largest to the smallest, exactly as a human firefighter would, only without any risk to human life. This represents a leap into the future of Autonomous Fire System Control, embodying key advances in Thermal Imaging, AI Computer Vision and Internet of Things (IoT) Sensors. The system can be controlled externally and share live data and yet, can operate completely independently of power and communications, should circumstances require.
