I was born and raised in Los Angeles, graduating from Fairfax High School and later receiving a Bachelors Degree in Economics at UCLA. Sports and cars have always been my passion from an early age. Baseball, basketball, football, golf were my favorites. Working on cars with my dad was also a passion. I learned how to drive a manual transmission on my dad's '57 VW Bug and was later given a '63 VW Bug which I worked on. Growing up I worked on my mom's '63 Pontiac Catalina station wagon and an old '68 Ford Fairlane. After graduating college my parents bought me a new '80 Datsun 310 front wheel drive w/a 5 speed manual transmission. In later years I have owned a Toyota Tercel, Toyota Camry LE, Nissan Maxima SE, Volvo 245 Wagon, Volvo 85, (2) Toyota Sienna LEs, Volvo 242 DL customized, (2) Volvo V50 R Design , Volvo S40 R Design, and (2) Volvo C30 Polestars. Most of my cars have been manual transmissions. While at UCLA, I interned one summer for the CA Dept. of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Auto Repair. I worked on the landmark SB33 Smog Check Program. Through the years afterwards, I worked in corporate finance, education, golf, a Matco Tools franchisee/manager, and now as an auto appraiser with Auto Appraisal Network. I have lived in Redmond, WA now for over 20 years with my wife and raised 4 Huskies. My passion still remains to be my family, cars, sports, and travelling.Design , Volvo S40 R Design, and Volvo C30 Polestars. Most of my cars have been manual transmissions.
