The AUTOBEST organization is the independent group of Automotive Media Experts with the largest representation in Europe. In 2024, the AUTOBEST organization and network with its 31 active members covers 31 countries, representing the interests of more than 665 million car users across Europe – and the majority of the population of the European continent. The 31 countries are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and Ukraine. Russia (representing 144.7 million additional users) remains suspended until further notice. Every year since 2001, AUTOBEST’s members are also the jurors who award the Best Buy Car of Europe amongst all cars that have been launched over the previous 12 months, advising potential buyers in a transparent and relevant way which vehicle might offer them the most for their money and car users about the most relevant trends and available functionalities to operate and to look for. As a jury, AUTOBEST also awards each year 12 personalities, top managers, brilliant car designers, motorsport legends, companies, best technologies, eco-friendly initiatives, best on-board connected technologies, safety and more for their contribution to the automotive progress and improvements as well as for the way they nurture people’s passion for the automotive world.
