Automatic Plastics specialises in the manufacturing of Plastic or Polymer Injection Moulding products with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, medical and food packaging sectors along with manufacturing of components for the medical device market. Established in 1972 APL has grown significantly, employing over 100 staff on the premises in Ireland. APL’s commitment to building and nurturing long term relationships with their clients is a company ethos shared by all the team. The manufacturing plant is based in Wicklow, near 3 major ports and just over an hour from Dublin International Airport. The factory operates in a state of the art 40,000 sq ft facility. While medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging and medical device injection moulding is the core service offered, APL also offers customers extensive Mould Project Management expertise & tooling services. Tool management includes the design, sourcing, storing and maintenance of tools. In terms of delivery for clients, APL has the capacity to operate 24/7, in a 3 shift format with a structured logistics solution as part of the service.
