Automatic Products Corporation (A.P.C.) has been a trusted name in contract manufacturing since 1957, when it was founded by Charles E. Tedford. In 1981, Gary E. Tedford took the reins as President and Owner, guiding the company through consistent and sustained growth. That growth led to a major milestone in 1997, when we transitioned from our original 32,000-square-foot building to a significantly larger, 118,000-square-foot facility—built to meet the evolving needs of our customers and operations.
Leadership stayed in the family when G. Christopher (Chris) Tedford became President in 2007, continuing our tradition of excellence across generations. Throughout the years, our success has been driven by a commitment to honesty, integrity, and continuous improvement. We believe in empowering our employees, evolving our processes, and investing in the tools and technologies that keep us at the forefront of industry.
In February 2025, we proudly marked 68 years of business, a testament to our strong foundation and forward-thinking approach.
