We began over 40 years ago as a supplier and manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and power units. The company has evolved since then! We now include the distribution of pneumatic components (the oldest stocking SMC distributor in Canada and now with Proax the largest stocking distributor), aluminum structural framing and automation systems (Bosch Rexroth), and valve automation. Robotics and automation are now a part of the growing services offered by AWT. 40 years ago, AWT manufactured power-units and cylinders (welded construction). Now Emerson/Bettis has in AWT a valve automation and controls center (VAC) that also manufactures for other VAC’s across the world. Today Automation West (an affiliate of Proax Technologies Ltd) specializes in the application of automation technology, to better serve our customers. As subject matter experts, in various industries, we offer a depth and knowledge of systems that just can’t be found easily in today’s fast moving technological world.
