Automec manufactures CNC gauging systems and controls. Our positioning systems consist of a programmable control where the operator enters a dimension and a motorized gauging mechanism automatically moves through a sequence of programmed dimensions. These systems can be retrofitted to press brakes, shears, cut-off saws and punches. We not only control our mechanical systems, but we offer programmability of the press brake ram. This increases operator productivity and reduces the need for re-working parts or handling a part multiple times.
Automec also offers new press brakes which we fully support and service throughout North America. If a retrofit project is unfeasible, we have carefully chosen to represent a new servo-electric press brake and a traditional hydraulic press brake.
Automec is the Certified USA Distributor of CoastOne Servo-Electric Press Brakes. These machines use servo motors and ball screws in a "direct-drive" system to administer force. There are NO HYDRAULICS. The press brake ram accuracy and repeatability is 0.00008" These machines are the future of bending metal and range in sizes from 3 ft., 25 tons to 13.5 ft., 150 tons.
Automec is a Certified USA Distributor of Standard Industrial Hydraulic Press Brakes, manufactured in Clarksdale, MS. We integrate our CNC control and backgauge system with the AB model machines, offering a fully-American-made package. With the OEM relationship we relay our turnkey cost savings to our customers. These brakes can be made in widths of over 20ft. and over 1,000 tons of bending force.
