Autovia Padana SpA is the Company which, on 15th February, 2018, began its 25 year contract to manage the Piacenza-Cremona-Brescia section of Autostrada A21. The road network of Autovia Padana, which extends between Lombardy and Emilia Romagna, includes about 89 kilometres of motorway from Piacenza to Brescia, including the branch to Fiorenzuola d’Arda, thus linking the A21 Torino-Piacenza-Brescia with the A1 Milan-Bologna and the A4 Turin-Trieste. The company is part of ASTM, international industrial group active in the sectors of freeway network management under concession, design and construction of major infrastructure works and technology applied to infrastructure. In concessions, the Group is the second largest highway operator in the world with a network of about 5,900 km. In particular, ASTM manages about 1,100 km of network in Italy, representing the leading player in the northwest area of the country.
