Ava's Path

Ava's Path empowers parents of children with diverse abilities facing divorce. This mission-driven organization, born from a parent's love for her children, equips families with comprehensive support, including co-parenting courses, community-building opportunities, educational content, and practical AI-driven tools—all designed to create equitable co-parenting plans and foster happy, healthy family relationships. Ava's Path was founded by Raquel Soto-Catalano, a passionate advocate for families experiencing divorce with special needs children. Inspired by her personal journey, Raquel created Ava's Path to address the critical need for accessible and specialized resources for families. Raquel recognized the limitations of existing parent education programs, which failed to address the unique challenges faced by families with children with diverse abilities. Through her fierce drive and dedication, she advocated for change, leading to the passage of Florida Section § 61.21, a Florida law requiring specialized parenting education for divorcing parents with special needs children.
