About Avaton Water

AVATON water originates from an artesian spring at the monastery mountain of Mount Athos which it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as having outstanding universal value. The untouched nature gives its flavor and valuable minerals to the pure water that comes out of the springs. The rocks and the slopes of the steep mountains contribute to the distillation, filtration and enrichment of this unique water with mineral natural elements. The good hydrogeological conditions and the absence of polluting human activities give the water its excellent quality, without a trace of harmful elements. According to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki scientists, the quality of AVATON water is easily distinguished on a global scale due to its low electrical conductivity (110S/cm) and balanced concentration of valuable elements such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and bicarbonates. These elements are naturally enriched as a result of water - rock interaction within the Diorite fractured rock aquifer. AVATON natural mineral water contains no potentially toxic elements or heavy metals such as hexavalent chromium, arsenic or boron. There are also no nitrogen species present, such as nitrate (NO3−), nitrite (NO2−) or ammonium (NH4+). In collaboration with the monastery of Simonopetra, our state-of-the-art bottling facility was built there in 2021, demonstrating our great respect for this unique region and its community. AVATON water is sourced, bottled and distributed by the Macedonian Bottling Company (M.B.C.), and is exported worldwide. For questions, please contact: info@avatonwater.com
