Two visionary leaders who believed in simple, guiding principles established Ave Maria Hospital Ltd (AMH) on November 10, 1995. Dr. Valeri Goriainov (an internal physician) and his wife Dr.(Mrs.) Nadia Goriainov (a pediatrician) birthed the hospital out of the altruistic passion the couple has for humanity especially Nigerians and all expatriates residing in Lagos and it environs. Dr. & Mrs. Goriainov are of Russian descent but their love for Nigerian people brought about the dream to start a medical facility that will help discourage Nigerians from travelling abroad to seek medical help. The temporary site is situated in the heartbeat of Victoria Island at Plot 52A Adetokunboh Ademola Street and this hospital has steadily grown and expanded with its permanent site recently opened at Plot 7 Block 14 Oba Idowu Abiodun Oniru Layout.
