Based in Florida, Avelar is a startup founded by brothers Murilo Avelar, and Mateus Avelar in 2023.
Murilo Avelar graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás (Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil) in 2020 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, and is currently working towards his MBA in Construction Management, Production and Technology in Construction at Instituto de Pós-Graduação e Graduação.
And Mateus Avelar graduated from Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, Florida, United States) in 2022 with a Bachelor of Architecture. After graduation, Mateus became an associate member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is currently pursuing a Masters of Civil Engineering at Universidade Federal de Goiás, while earning required experience hours towards his licensure in the state of Florida.
Even though Avelar is not yet functioning as a firm, Murilo and Mateus are constantly evolving in their professions and gathering new skills that will be necessary to the development of the company and to assure best quality architectural design and methods of construction in their projects.
