AVID TESOL Academy is a teacher training center offering teacher education courses and programs for English language teachers. AVID TESOL was established in 2007 as a department at AVID School of English training its teachers, and in 2018, it started offering international TEFL and TESOL courses helping teachers around the world dream bigger and go international. At AVID, teachers from early stages learn the concept of ‘principled creativity’ and practice effective creative teaching. This new perspective onto language teaching and learning is our distinguishing feature. Teaching English in Gap Year Many high school graduates are encouraged to have a gap year – a break between high school and university – so they see and explore the world and gain better insight into their interests and ambitions they have. To broaden your horizons, one of the best ways is doing a TESOL course and starting teaching abroad (countries in Asia, Central Asia, Africa and South America).
