AVIS Roma

The Rome section was founded in 1937 and today is a private body with public purpose and contributes to the National Health Service in favor of the community. AVIS founded his institutional and associative activity on the constitutional principles of democracy and social participation and on voluntary work as a central element and irreplaceable tool of human solidarity. Avis Comunale Roma is registered in the Regional Registry of Volunteering, given the LL.RR. n° 29 of the 28/06/1993 and n ° 18 of the 23/05/1996, with determination Lazio Region n° 512 of the 10/12/2001 and beginning 06/11/2001. Avis Comunale Roma is also registered under No. 163 of the Regional Register of Private Legal Persons with Lazio Region Resolution No. 2866 of 11/09/2006, pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 361 of 10/02/2000. The aims of the association established by the Statute are: to meet the growing demand for blood, to have donors ready and controlled in the type of blood and health, to fight to eliminate the sale of blood, to donate blood to everyone, without any discrimination.
