Ours is a venture technology firm active in Europe and the Americas that specializes in science and technology R&D primarily for the aerospace, defense, IT and electronics industries. We also collaborate with early-stage and emerging growth companies. Finally, a substantial proportion of our work is derived from in-house projects. Our staff has extensive experience in applied science, where the R&D arm currently undertakes projects ranging from mathematical pattern recognition for Hitachi to biotechnology research in fruit polyphenol production for a Mexican mango producer. The multidisciplinary research teams working at or in collaboration with AVNTK are recognised in the scientific community as leaders in their fields, with a combined production of 100+ publications, multiple presentations, as well as actively-exploited patents. Our group also comprises entrepreneur and technology executives who can help raise the level of operational expertise necessary to drive business progress. In selected transactions, AVNTK invests technology, economic and human resources, in return for an equity stake.
