Hans-Reiner Kasel founded -AWA e.V.- in 1993 based on his belief „preserving proven traditions while introducing innovation“. His vision transformed the former vocational school, Naehmaschinenwerk Altenburg, into what is now the proven leader in vocational training in the Altenburg region. As the first non-profit education and training network in Altenburg our experience separates our programs from others in this field. -AWA e.V.- is committed in providing our students with all of the necessary education and training required in all phases of their career. We offer programs for orientation, preparation, training, advanced training, and re-training. We believe our holistic approach to education and training, which provides career support and advice beyond the classroom, gives our students a distint advantage in the workplace. Our success has allowed -AWA e.V.- to be recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and many companies in the region as the leader in vocational education and training for the Industrial Engineering sector. -AWA e.V.- offers programs for the following fields: • Metal Technology • Plastics and composites technology • Electrical engineering & electronics • Mechatronics • Automation, control, and regulation technology • CNC technology • CAD / CAM technology • Quality Management / 3D Measurement Technology • Material Testing All of these programs are designed to be adapted to the ever changing requirements of the industries we support.
