Award Expert

Award Expert is a fast-growing social platform for predicting The Oscars and other award shows! In the first year, it's acquired 4,000 active users on both iOS and Android devices. The app tracks your predictions throughout award season, and aggregates all data from the community to see what's out front. It allows users to gain insight into how many nominations a film is expected to receive, and exactly how many users think it's in a number two slot vs a number one. As a social app, users can follow one another and see on their home screen what predictions their friends have updated most recently. When nominations or wins occur, a leaderboard is compiled, and you can see how you did compared to your friends and users overall. In the coming year, the app will allow users to view their history and take a "time machine" back to what they were thinking on a given day. Users will also be able to share what they would have done if they were the Oscars!
