OUR PURPOSE To provide, promote and preserve a framework of Award participation that equips, engages and empowers all young people in Western Australia to explore their potential. OUR PROGRAMS * The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - a leading structured (non-formal education) youth development program for young people aged 14 – 25, bringing together practical experiences and life skills to create committed global citizens and equipping young people for life and work. The Award operates in more than 130 countries and territories around the globe and for over 60 years, millions of young people have participated and received Awards, with millions more benefiting from its impact in communities around the world. * Ignite Award - a challenging program of discovery for young people aged 10 – 14 providing a framework to learning valuable skills, assisting others in the community, being active and experiencing adventures.
