Awatar.net is a gig economy marketplace that facilitates remote shopping. We have an international network of agents who can be hired on a per-hour basis to show up at any physical store, market or trade show in their local area, and act as a proxy shopping assistant (avatar) on behalf of our client, while being on a video call with that client. The purpose of our product is to facilitate the kinds of trades that can't happen virtually due to lack of trust between parties, or for logistical reasons.
