On April 5, 1949, the AWCB, a non-profit organization (ASBL) was founded by 36 American women who wanted to create a local support network for US expats living in Belgium. We have evolved to include both men and women - of any nationality - who want to share in the American spirit.
The AWCB also provides philanthropic support to both local and global charities, and is part of FAWCO, a United Nations NGO which has the mission to improve the lives of girls and women around the world. Join us and share in the magic that connections with kindred spirits brings!
