The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) Washington, DC Metropolitan Chapter is dedicated to advancing the careers of women in science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, and medicine (STEAMM). Our members, including both women and men, come from diverse educational and professional backgrounds, united by the shared goal of promoting gender equity in science.
