A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products, founded in the 1960s by Allan Jenkinson in Cumbria, is a market leader. With our network of associated businesses, we handle more than 3.5 million tonnes of roundwood, chips, shavings, sawdust, bark, greenwaste and other timber co-products every year. We collect from forestry sites, sawmills and wood processing industries right across the UK and Ireland.
A.W. Jenkinson’s services link the forestry, sawmilling, wood processing, building and demolition sectors with the pulp, paper and panel manufacture, horticulture, amenity and biomass markets. Our products can be found across a broad spectrum of applications, from zoos to farms, and from world-famous gardens to children’s playgrounds.
We use every bit of a tree, from stemwood to branches and tops, and we operate whole tree recovery of valuable fibre from dead, dying and diseased trees.
