The AWS Cloud Cup brings AWS go-to-market teams and AWS partners together for a charity football tournament and evening event in order to raise funds for The Prince's Trust.
For 5 consecutive years AWS have hosted The Cloud Cup and 2024's edition of the tournament at AFC Wimbledon raised £125,486 for the charity, bringing the total funds raised to £288,702 over the 5 years.
Founded by His Majesty King Charles III when he was HRH The Prince of Wales, The Prince’s Trust works with young people aged 11 to 30 to assist them in moving into work, education, or training. AWS UKI is supporting The Prince’s Trust in their mission through a number of initiatives this year.
In the last 5 years, 3 in 4 young people supported by The Trust have moved into work, education or training. Over 1 million young people have been helped to date.
