Axerto is an assertive NFC tag in which advanced technological solutions are used to guarantee the result. Whether it is an adhesive label or a card, the technology does not change. Each Axerto tag is unique and the data transmitted is encrypted making cloning ineffective. Any Axerto clone is detected as counterfeit. In addition to product authentication, Axerto is also the Data Carrier of excellence for conveying the information of the Digital Product Passport (DPP), a set of data that accompanies the product throughout its life cycle. The DPP has multiple purposes ranging from informed purchase, reuse and disposal of products. For some products, such as clothing, the DPP will be mandatory from February 2027.
