About Axium Nano

Axium Nano is a revolution in nanoscale engineering and fabrication. Graphene, graphene oxide, nanoparticles and other nanoscale raw materials exhibit tremendously exciting structural and functional properties. However, the cost of producing these materials are very expensive and quality control is poor. Moreover, the costs of manufacturing nanocomposites (thin films) from graphene and nanoparticles are also very expensive, limiting applications to niche markets. Axium has developed several proprietary processes that establish a comprehensive and efficient supply chain to fabricate graphene, nano and micro particles, ceramic and metallic nanofibers at significantly lower cost with tight quality control. The Company's downstream nanocomposites manufacturing platform can produce these thin films at a rate over 10,000 times faster than chemical vapor deposition (CVD) while maintaining precise deposition and dispersion control. Axium's mandate is to industrialize nanomaterials manufacturing and commercialize nanocomposites for high volume commercial applications, such as solar, energy storage, water treatment, coatings, among many other applications. The Company has developed a directly deposited silicon/graphene anode that meets or exceeds the specifications of Tier One lithium ion battery manufacturers and could be offered at a price competitive with synthetic graphite. Silicon is considered a breakthrough material for energy storage due to its incredibly high energy density, but the development of a commercially-viable composite anode has alluded industry and academia for almost a decade. Axium is scaling its production and plans to build manufacturing capacity over the next 24 months. Axium has been developing a pipeline of progressive materials for other energy storage applications and also advanced battery chemistries, such as lithium sulfur and lithium air, technologies that store far more energy than lithium ion batteries.
