Axor Biosystems is a life sciences tool company developing a revolutionary new electrophoresis technology based on performing electrophoresis in microplates. The electrophoresis consumables will be available as 2, 4, 8 well/cell microplate strips. The strips are application specific; for analytical capillary, analytical gel electrophoresis, preparative electrophoresis, and affinity electrophoresis. The strips are self contained and only require the addition of a sample (DNA, RNA, Protein or cell or cell lysates suspended in a labeling mix) depending on the specific application. These strips are held in a microplate holder and are processed in an instrument that controls the electrophoresis within each cell independently of the other cells under realtime imaging control.
