AXXESS Biometrics

Axxess Biometrics built a product called "Managed Axxess" to control access to both physical and logical assets. In addition to fingerprint biometrics, Managed Axxess had built in support for many other biometric technologies such as retinal scan, palm - vein scan, and voice print. However, biometrics was not the only offering as it included hardware access via key card and pin pad. Additional differentiators included the ability for the requisite forms a verification to change dynamically based on time of day, day of week, and what the secured resource required for access. The company pioneered new behavioral biometric identifiers though they were not integrated into the system at the time of acquisition in 2009.
