Any assessor sent to site would hold a membership with the IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers) and/or IFSM (Institute of Fire Safety Managers) and CertFDI (Certified Fire Door Inspector) as appropiate. This ensures that any report you received was undertaken by people with the necessary skills, experience, and qualifications. The fire risk assessment and fire door surcey is carried out on behalf of the Responsible Person to help and ensure that the chance of fire to occur is minimised. The report will also ensure that appropriate managerial arrangements, such as fire procedures and maintenance of fire safety measures, are in place.
