Who We Are—We serve as the State’s “watchdog” by making sure agencies, counties, universities, community college districts, and school districts are using their resources (taxpayer dollars) appropriately and effectively.
Our Work—Our auditors and investigators perform highly specific work and research in response to State laws and legislative requests, and produce impactful reports with recommendations for improvements. Most of these recommendations are implemented, which results in better government for Arizona citizens.
