AZBUKA Foundation is the project that has grown from and based upon more than 13-years of AZBUKA work in London founded by Maria Gavrilova. AZBUKA Foundation is a leader in promoting Russian-English Billingual Education in London since 2000 and has launched the first Russian-English primary school with a full-time billingual curriculum in 2015. Azbuka Foundation is non-profit UK registered charity. AZBUKA Foundation has 5 directions: Nursery - an Ofsted registered Russian Nursery School. Established in 2002. A sessional day care, using the specialist AZBUKA language immersion curriculum. For children aged between 2-4 years old. AZBUKA School London’s first Russian-English Bilingual School offering a full teaching programme (from Monday to Friday). The children in our reception and year 1 classes follow a specially designed bilingual programme. Russian Saturday School - has been the second part of our bilingual education programme since 2005. For children aged from 5 to16 year olds. AZBUKA has developed a special curriculum, aiming for developing Russian as a second language and maintaining a Russian identity in the bilingual context, through Azbuka language immersion methodology. AZBUKA Cultural Centre - established in 2001, the Cultural Centre is all about providing a range of cultural events and activities for a variety of families and was the first part of AZBUKA organisation. Theatre companies, artists, poets and thematic events. AZBUKA Bilingual Education Resource for all children and families and the wider community.
