The Arizona Fund Manager Association (AFMA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the growth and visibility of Arizona’s investment management sector. AFMA serves as the statewide hub for fund professionals committed to building a thriving ecosystem of investment funds managed and headquartered in Arizona. Founded in 2017, AFMA brings together professionals across a wide range of investment strategies—including private equity, venture capital, real estate, hedge funds, private credit, long-only, and mutual funds—who share a common goal: to strengthen Arizona’s position as a national destination for capital formation and fund innovation. Through strategic programming, member collaboration, institutional engagement, and policy advocacy, AFMA works to elevate local talent, attract capital, and support the long-term growth of Arizona’s investment landscape.
