“AzQtel” LLC is a Wireless Multiple Access (“WiMAX”) operator licensed to operate in Azerbaijan. The Company was founded in December 2005 to provide High Speed Broadband Internet and other Value Added Services. “AzQtel”s unique WiMAX technology platform allows the company to provide high quality wireless broadband and broadband mobility services to its customers. The Company officially launched its new 4G WiMAX broadband services in 2011 under the brand name “SAZZ”. Sazz 4G Internet coverage included Baku City and the metropolitan area, Sumgayit, Xirdalan, coastal areas of Absheron and 13 regions of the country namely: Zagatala, Balaken, Gakh, Guba, Gusar, Xachmaz, Sheki, Ganja, Mingechevir, Astara, Lankaran, Lerik and Masalli. The company has received a number of awards for its quality of service and fast expansion of its services, including: In 2012, the company was chosen as the “The best Internet Provider” by visitors to the most popular news resource in the country, Day.az In 2013, the Company received an award from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies as the best ICT Company for its expansion of services to the regions of the country.
