About Azubara
Welcome to Azubara! 🚀 🔍 What We Do: At Azubara, we revolutionize how apprenticeships are filled by bridging the gap between young adults and businesses through social media engagement and innovative technology. Our platform sends the perfect apprenticeship opportunities directly into your DMs, combining the flexibility of job platforms with the effectiveness of professional agencies. 🎯 Our Mission: Faced with 73,000 unfilled apprenticeship positions and a 37% increase in NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) since 2019, we aim to tackle this labor shortage crisis head-on. By harnessing the power of viral content and social media, we attract and engage potential apprentices where they spend their time. 👥 The Team: Founded by Sanchit, Leon, and Peter, who met through Yeti and bring diverse backgrounds in design, mechanical engineering, and the startup economy, Azubara is fueled by a passion to make a difference. Our team is driven by the belief that we can change lives and strengthen industries through our innovative approach. 💡 Our Approach: We understand that today's youth express their interests in new ways, often through social media. Leveraging this, our chatbot engages potential candidates in natural language via platforms like WhatsApp, collecting data and creating in-depth profiles without the need for traditional forms or registrations. This not only ensures a fun experience but also saves time and effort. 🌟 Impact: In just a short period, we’ve secured 3 signed LOIs from diverse business sectors with many more interested, proving our model's effectiveness. 📈 Looking Ahead: Our long-term goal is to help close the apprenticeship gap, upskilling NEETs and providing employers with access to an untapped labor market. By doing so, we too are able to empower marginalized groups to lead more fulfilling lives and help overcome specialized labor shortage.
