Currently run by a married couple Maya Memovic, Creative Director and Alex Srour, CEO, AZULU distinguishes itself through meticulous attention to details, incorporating delicate embroidery, artisan techniques and uniquely crafted hardware that is tailored to each and every collection. AZULU celebrates the innate exuberance of the modern woman through designs that are effortless, luxurious, and playful. The brand is defined by the use of natural textiles and intricate textures, elaborating most of its pieces in organic linens and cottons, lightweight knits, and imported silks. Its iconic silhouettes are a mixture of delicate draping and structured paneling inspired by vintage art and architecture. The entire process of research, development and production is managed directly by the AZULU group to ensure mindful practices and highest standards of quality at every step of the process. AZULU sources its materials from all over the world and assembles its designs in small, family run factories in Bogotá, Colombia.
