San Diego Japanese Community Center

Originally starting as an after school language program for children in 2010 as San Diego Town Japanese School, Azuna-Kai extended its programs and outreach to adults and older adults in April 2013. As a 501( c ) (3) non profit corporation, we provide the following: What we do *Provide educational programs and classes on the Japanese language and culture and information about the Japanese community *Run programs and classes for adults and older adults, primarily in Japanese, in order to promote healthy living and social enrichment *Provide support, networking, and outreach to a variety of minority groups and organizations *Collaborate with other groups and organizations in the community to strengthen the sense of community *Rent out rooms to all members in the community for purposes such as classes, seminars, workshops, and meetings.
