Experimentation is a key source of information for industries, notably for the development of a new product or a new process. Experimenters often use a "one factor at a time" strategy (test of parameters that might influence the experimental system), which is time-consuming, requires sometimes rare, harmful, or expensive reagents and/or equipments, may be a source of waste, and thus represent a significant investment. One alternative is Design of Experiments (DoE), a method where all parameters vary at the same time to cover the entire experimental domain. With this strategy, experimenters are able to identify influent parameters, to detect interactions between parameters, and to modelize their results in the experimental domain with only some experimental points, carefully selected by the design. These optimized approaches are already used by major companies and come out to be a true competitive and economic advantage, but current solutions requires sophisticated and expensive softwares, and qualified personnel. To democratize these tools, AZURAD is developing a very intuitive software with a fair price to implement DoE in the routine of industries.
