Aérodyne ou Association d'Etudes & Réalisations en Optimisation Dynamique & Energétique a été créée au sein de l'IUT de Cachan pour permettre aux étudiants de la filière Génie Mécanique et Productique de se lancer dans des projets importants de conceptions, de fabrications et de rénovations inhérents au monde de l'aviation . Le projet phare de cette association est la fabrication de A à Z d'un Jodel D18, avion biplace connu pour sa légèreté et sa simplicité de conception.
