Who we are? 🏎️ LiU Formula Student formerly known as Elith Racing is a non-profit students' association at Linköping University, Sweden . We function like a regular organization, highly structured and goal-oriented. Credits to our management team that support and help our organization grow. A very humble gratitude to our sponsors that provide us the utmost encouragement and resources we need to walk the success path. Currently, we are a team of 125 students that possess various educational levels and educational backgrounds. Owing to our diverse skills and capabilities, we together strive to professionally develop and compete in the largest design and development competition – Formula Student. Each year we see this an exciting opportunity to compete in the competition and overcome our limitations. We ensure that we reach our target and follow our principles. We aim to attend to at least two international competitions every year. What we do? 🏎️ With all our passion for motorsport, we design, construct and manufacture an efficient high- performance racing vehicle while in close cooperation with Linköping University and local industries. We compete in Formula SAE sanctioned events with international Formula Student teams. We made our first competitive appearance during the summer of 2012 at Silverstone UK, and since then we have been continuously striven upward. About the competition! 🏎️ During competitions, several different events are included. In addition to performance, the environmental perspective, safety, efficiency and smart solutions are evaluated among others. Formula Student has rapidly grown and there are now about 500 teams competing in a series of international competitions sanctioned by the organization FSAE all around the world. Summer 2015 we placed 33 out of 130 teams at Silverstone UK.
