Clear River Racing

Formula Student is the largest engineering competition in the world. The purpose of Formula Student is to design, construct and manufacture a racing vehicle from scratch. In the competition, there are both dynamic events and static events, which all are graded individually. In the dynamic events the teams compete in skidpad, autocross, acceleration and endurance. In the static events the teams compete in business presentation, engineering design and cost and sustainability analysis. Today Clear River Racing consist of about 30 students, from several different programs and grades. The team consist of about 20 new students and 10 recurring team members. Last year we went to FSUK and Silverstone Circuit where we placed the highest among the Swedish teams and second of all the Nordic teams. Our best placement so far was the summer of 2017 where we placed 3th out of 108 teams with a total score of 732.9 at Silverstone, UK.
