B&M Scientific is a reliable, efficient and affordable source of high quality laboratory consumables to the entire scientific, medical and educational community. The company opened it's doors in 1989, when it discovered that there was a need for superior scientific expertise as well as affordable high quality lab consumables in the post-apartheid South Africa. We therefore pride ourselves on our BBEE accreditation and continue to be a workplace where equal opportunities are available to our all employees. The businesses has grown to enjoy the support of medical and educational institutes as well as laboratories across South Africa. We are also passionate about giving back to our communities. We love to host events for students and learners in order to show them the vast and exciting opportunities that await them if they choose to study within the field of science. In addition to this, we also are passionate about supporting local small-scale farmers and gardeners. This has led to the start of a new agriculture initiative. We plan to assist farmers with resources and equipment in order to help them grow their crops AND their businesses into sustainable enterprises which will feed their communities and stimulate their local economy.
