The b2bResourceSmart & HumanCentric Schools initiative has been created to assist Australia's K-12 Schools and Colleges become centres of excellence in sustainability and resource efficiency in the effective management and operation of all school campus buildings. In today’s world where climate change is undeniable, electricity prices increasing, water scarcity becoming more common and waste pollution clogging our landfills and oceans, transmitting to the next generation and future leaders of our society in how to better manage our resources is now imperative more than ever. Acknowledging the world we will be handing over to them will be facing challenges never before encountered in our history. Arming our children with the knowledge and tools now, during their formative years of their schooling, will enable them an awareness, appreciation and understanding of Sustainability and the important role it plays in their future. Through sustainable technology and solutions installation, we can ensure Australia’s school campuses get as close to NET ZERO Energy, Water, Waste & Consumption as possible and will serve as real and living examples of Sustainability excellence in a school campus setting.
