BABs Outside

The gender gap starts young. As little kids, boys are 4 per­cent more likely to do things like cycling, running, fishing, camping and hiking. With teens, the gender gap widens to 12 points. And as adults, women are held back from fully outdoorsy participation by factors like time management, concerns over safety, or lack of peers with whom to recreate. Guess what, bitches - BABs are changing that. We’re a group of ladies, friends in fact, that do stupid things outside. No, we’re not pro, we’re not sponsored, and we even get scared. We all come from different backgrounds, but we have one thing in common - we share a love of the outdoors and want to create and share stories of women in the backcountry that inspire, make nature accessible, and most importantly are fun af.
