What started as a conversation between friends-Dr. Mahmoud Basheer, Dr. Wael Aboulkheir, and Dr. Ahmed Galal-quickly turned into a shared vision for the future of pediatric care in the Middle East.
During one of our early meetings, Dr. Mahmoud Basheer laid out key challenges facing private pediatric practice in the region: the lack of reliable Arabic health education resources for parents, operational hurdles in running clinics, and the untapped potential of health tech in transforming pediatric care.
This inspired us to build a solution.
In 2023, BabyHub was born-an ambitious initiative with a clear mission:
To establish a modern pediatric clinic model that prioritizes safe, evidence-based care.
To create Arabic-language, expert-backed health content for parents across digital platforms.
To train and support pediatricians through continuous medical education.
To invest in the future of health tech in our region.
We launched our first clinic in 2024, and with the second branch already underway, we're just getting started. Our long-term goal is to scale responsibly, replicating a model that puts both patient satisfaction and doctor well-being at its core.
