Babylon is a private credit firm helping Micro & Lower Middle Market companies with unique or special situations. We specialize in structured, event-driven capital solutions for businesses with $5M–$100M in annual revenue. Our business model is similar to that of a traditional investment bank, except we focus solely on debt.
Advisory - We help businesses raise capital without relying on traditional banks or equity investors. Many operators aren’t aware of the private credit options available to them given their current capital stack. Through top-down analysis, we identify best-fit financing strategies tailored to each company’s specific situation. Advisory work includes, but is not limited to:

↳ Bridging investor or lender fatigue (i.e. stalled capital raises)
↳ Working within or around existing senior/junior debt (i.e. hybrid deals)
↳ Structuring add-on or replacement financings (i.e. non-dilutive recapitalizations)
Fund - Babylon also acts as a direct credit investor. We deploy capital across the capital structures of non-bank financing institutions that originate loans to U.S.-based SMEs. We participate in deals at the transaction level, assuming direct credit risk in the underlying businesses. We’ve also backed senior credit facilities to select originators and specialty lenders. Since inception, Babylon has helped fund 170+ businesses through a network of world-class, strategically aligned partners, many of whom finance transactions sourced by our advisory.
